Project Background

For IMTO, the core requirement was straightforward: build an IBC production setup that can run with high automation and consistent cycle time, minimizing manual intervention on both the blow molding side and the cage/assembly side.

Solution Delivered

The project was delivered as a compact, end-to-end line centered on a three-layer 1000L blow molding configuration (DMB1000L-3), paired with a fully automatic cage production line.

Downstream automation was a key focus. The line integrates automatic handling operations—including take-out, deflashing, and pipe placement—helping the customer reduce operator workload and stabilize production rhythm.

Business Impact and Customer Takeaways

By adopting a three-layer blow molding setup and a fully automatic cage line, IMTD established a production foundation designed for:

  • Higher consistency through reduced manual steps

  • Improved operational efficiency through automated downstream handling

  • A scalable automation route suitable for long-term capacity planning
